What Defines the Soldiers Table
Per the DM, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.
Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Motivations for Departure
First, the party knows exactly where to go next after a intense opening clash with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of the deceased character—whose demise initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, striking Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.
The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.
Personal Motivations
Secondly, each character has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:
- The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, desires retribution.
- The adventurer knows Timmony and warns that it is a nasty place.
- The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
- But, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could enable the group enter areas they normally couldn’t.
- Moreover, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.

Finally, all of them are sought by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
